These crisp bread fries with a simple seasoning of salt and pepper make a quick tea time snack. This is also one of those easiest recipe that you can try in a jiffy with the leftover edges of bread. We usually like our sandwiches, bread rolls without the sides or ‘Edges’, but what happens to those lovely brown sides?.....yes, most of us discard them. Here we give you this simple recipe to use them and turn into something very yummy…..FRIES !!
To keep it healthier we chose to bake. Hence, you can have these fries without those extra calories that might have gone into your body if they were fried. So now make delicious snacks with bread like potato & cabbage bread rolls, grilled potato sandwich, bread dahi wada with potato & sprouts filling and use the edges to make these delicious tea time fries.
*These baked bread fries taste delicious with yogurt dip and this whole combo makes a healthy snack for evening tea time.
*Throwing a birthday bash at home?....then probably you can make garlic bread at home and use the edges to make fries. Serve them with roasted tomato bell pepper salsa or Guacamole and create a soulful platter with mixed cuisine.
