Carrot Rice originally comes from Tamilian cuisine and is one of those healthy recipes that you can make in hurry bury. It is also know as Carrot Sadam. Very simple ingredients and flavors that come out in absolute harmony in this very homely dish. Either have it as it is or serve with curd or some gravy, you will love it anyways.
Usually made with Leftover rice, this dish is like an instant Pulao that not only looks appealing, but is equally palatable too. Especially kids who refuse to eat healthy vegetables like Carrots, this dish is a good way to feed them with the goodness of this wonderful vegetable. Thanks to the ease of this recipe and the simplicity of ingredients, Carrot Rice makes an amazing dish to be packed for school or office lunch boxes as well. You just need some 10 or 15 minutes to bring out the whole dish that is packed with nutrition and taste both.
