Methi Kadhi is a delicious twist to the regular Kadhi recipes and tastes ultimate with rice and chapatis. To make Methi Kadhi we need fenugreek leaves, Besan, curd and ingredients mentioned in Ingredients list.
In winters when fresh fenugreek or Methi Saag is available in abundance, then making this Methi Kadhi is not only a devoring idea but healthy too. Fresh methi leaves cooked with a robust tempering of cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and then mixed with the curd & chickpea flour batter taste divine and comforting on a chilli winter day. Besides, the bitterness of methi is well balanced with the sourness of curd.
There are many ways to cook Kadhi and almost every cuisine in North India has a unique recipe for this. Kadhi - Chawal makes an excellent combination and a great comfort food when you are not in a mood to cook chapatis or any other curry. We have more Kadhi Recipes for you to try out -
