Our Smoothie Breakfast Bowl is loaded with Super Foods like Flaxseed, Chia seed, Oats, Curd, Honey and fresh seasonal fruits - After all, what else one could ask for a rich and nutritious way to kick start the morning?



If you are serving this Smoothie Bowl to a diabetic person, then omit adding ‘Honey’. Natural sugar from fruits would be sufficient to bring in the taste.

I used Chia seeds in this recipe as it is and it works for me, however if prefer you might want to soak these seeds in milk or water for an hour before adding to the dish.

Smoothie Bowl along with freshly made savory Whole Wheat Vegetable Crepes or Multigrain Vegetable Crepes would be a great combination for a healthy and nutritious Breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Fresh curd (Low fat) - 1 cup
  • Milk (Preferably toned) - 1/4 cup
  • Honey - To taste (Optional)
  • Oats - 1-2 teaspoon
  • Oats flour/Oatmeal - 1 teaspoon
  • Flaxseed - 1 teaspoon
  • Chia seed - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh fruits of choice - Strawberry, pineapple, apple, mango etc.

How to make Smoothie Bowl Breakfast

To begin with making this super healthy Breakfast Smoothie Bowl we need to lightly toast oats on a hot pan. Keep aside.

  1. In a mixing bowl combine together curd, milk, honey, oats flour and whisk till smooth. 

Assembling -

  1. In a serving bowl place the cut fruits of choice. Do not miss to discard the seeds. Pour over the curd mixture and finally top with toasted oats, flaxseeds, chia seeds. Serve.
