Atta Chilla (cheela) is one of those breakfast dishes that you can often plan to cook at the last minute as it doesn’t requires any of those elaborate preparations in advance. Atta Chilla is really quick and healthy Recipe.
And the best part you can throw in whatever veggies you have in hand whether raw or steamed. The recipe is utterly simple just make a thick batter with the staple gehun ka atta, season with salt-spices and mix in the chopped veggies. When the chilla batter is ready, the next step involves spreading it onto a hot grazed pan and cooking on both sides till golden. However, this technique of spreading the chilla batter on pan requires little bit of know how which you can master with some practice.
I often make this whenever run out of time, yet need to cook something healthy for breakfast. And usually what I do is find 3-4 or more veggies in my refrigerator like cabbage, carrot, mushrooms, greens, radish, beetroot or capsicum and pulse in food processor. Most of these veggies are procured from home kitchen garden, so basically I have these in supply for most parts of the year. Hence, anytime of the day I am ready to make something that involves Mixed Veggies like, Mixed Vegetable Cutlets, Awadhi Vegetable Pulao , Bengali Bhog Khichuri , Vegetable Uttapam or Rawa Upma.
