Coconut Ladoo Recipe
These soft, melt in mouth Coconut Ladoo are a delight and great to serve at any festivity. The recipe is quite simple with easy to follow steps and the most important part here is roasting of coconut. This has to be done with great care at low flame as coconut tends to burn very quickly. Moreover, the ingredients used here are basic ones including condensed milk and cardamom powder. You can also substitute coconut powder with freshly desiccated coconut. It would give better results.
What if we say that you could make 'Coconut Burfi' with the same mixture? Just spread the ladoo mixture while it is hot in a greased tray and put in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes or till it is set. Cut in squares or diamond shape and serve. Your homemade coconut burfis are ready.
Did you know, ‘Coconut’ is one of the few foods that can be classified as a “Superfood.” Its benefits include weight loss, better brain function, skin health and many more. Before serving, roll coconut ladoos in desiccated coconut. Arrange these ladoos in a traditional serving tray and garnish with rose petals and crushed pistachios. This color contrast makes it look more enticing!
