Paneer tawa masala is one of the easiest side dish that you can make within 15-20 minutes for a quick lunch or dinner to accompany your rotis, paranthas or rice. It has a spicy semi dry curry robust with aroma and flavors.
The word ‘Tawa’ refers to a concave shaped pan used to make most types of Indian breads and because you can use it to make this paneer dish after cooking your rotis, hence the name ‘Paneer Tawa Masala’. In this recipe we have added capsicum and tomatoes to enhance the flavors. You can play with ingredients and add veggies like boiled green peas, baby corn, mushrooms. Add dry fruits for a rich taste.
For special or festive meals serve this paneer tawa masala with spinach thepla, masala puri or masala parantha. Team with rich dal makhni, Hydrabadi style achaari aloo baingan and Punjabi style achaari bhindi.
If wish to serve ‘Raita’, then anar ka raita would go best !
