Matar paneer curry is a delicious combination of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and green peas in a mild spicy onion tomato based gravy. It is one such paneer dish that is liked by both vegetarians & non vegetarians due to its rich texture and amazing taste that wonderfully teams with paranthas, naan, puris and rice. No doubts, you would find it’s place in the menu charts of almost every restaurant that serves North Indian delicacies.
Soft paneer cubes when shallow fried bring out a very subtle taste that perfectly complements the robust flavors of thick gravy flavored with powdered spices and an array of whole spices. Sometimes small amount of curd, fresh cream or cashew paste is often added to enhance the richness of this gravy. But again, it is individual preference as to how you like your curry to be.
Here we are providing you with ‘Restaurant Style Matar Paneer Curry’ recipe and as we always insist on simple and healthy recipes, hence this recipe is also low in calories.
